Gmarket Global Tutorial: How to track your package

Hello all!

I've decided to make a tutorial on how to track your order from Gmarket (English). I like shopping from this website and I've been buying from them for a few years now!! In the past, my friend used to help me order, but this year, I've taken the plunge to order on my own! It has been quite a good experience so far.. There are some hiccups in some orders, but it was good for most part of it.

After making an order, the most exciting part is waiting for your package to arrive, right? Yes! Usually after placing an order, I'll log in at least once a day to check on the status of my parcels. I'll try to do a step by step explanation and try to make it simple. It is really quite easy after you've gotten the hang of it.

Gmarket Haul #7

My order from Gmarket Global arrived!!

The total weight only came up to 1.7kg, so imagine my surprise when I received this huge box!

I ordered from Gmarket Global again.

Let's start with the fun part first! Quite a small haul this time for me, as most items are my sister's.

Some people find it gross when some cultures eat weird parts of an animal like say, pig's skin, or innards or idontknow fish lips. Have you thought that this is not because people have some pervertic (lol, new word) thoughts of enjoying these weird parts, but because in the past... long ago.. people were poor and would eat any part of the animal so as not to waste food? Maybe meat was a luxury.. why waste any part of the animal? And then these food were passed down through generations and people grow up eating such things and so it is not gross to them. Well, a good thing is that nowadays, people are more hygienic and parts such as innards are cleaned properly. 

I don't eat stuff like pig's innards. But because I grew up seeing people eat it, I don't think it is gross when people eat it... I only find it really gross if it is not prepared well and looks... gross? I'm fine with people eating exotic food. Maybe what is normal to us, is gross to them too. I don't understand why people eat horse meat or dog meat. That's just... No. But then again.. whoever decided that eating chicken/pork/beef is normal but eating other animals is cruel? Just because dogs and horses are smarter and we humans like to treat them as our friends, they are not commonly bred as food for us. Poor chickens and cows. If only you were cuter and recognize us humans. 

One thing i really dislike though, is when the animal is cooked live.. that is just cruel ): How will it taste any better if it is cooked live? ): 

Review: Peripera Nail Polish

Price: 7500 Won for 4 (promotional price). Usual price is 9000 won for 4.
After conversion, and adding shipping price, I got them for about SGD 2.60.

The reason why we ended up getting 8 bottles is because you can only order in 4s. And because I wanted to get a plain black and white, and sis also wanted get some.. we ended up getting 8. And yes... I got the wrong white. -cries- I wanted a plain creme white. There weren't a lot of actually swatches / bottle photos around and the colour chart they have was not useful at all.. I managed to find a bottle photo from another seller but I guess I was still blind enough to pick the wrong white. ): I don't know what to do with this bottle.

I decided to try Peripera's nail polishes because there were some good reviews online. Peripera claims this nail polish to be "one touch (=one stroke/coat), (dries in) one minute, (lasts) one week".

"One touch" isn't totally inaccurate. The brush is thick, so you can cover your nail in one stroke. However, one coat is definitely not enough.. I find that 2 thin coats work better for me. Banana Candy (the yellow) also had great formula. Somehow, I find that yellow nail polishes usually come with some problem with the formula.. it is usually a bit streaky and harder to apply. But this was easy to apply! Another yellow nail polish with awesome formula is Topshop's Lady Marmalade. I love that colour!!

As for "One minute"... well, it does dry to touch after 1 minute, but still dent-able (what's that word?). I'm not sure about the "one week" claim, but I've seen both positive and negative reviews about the wear.. Probably differs with the type of top coat you are using? I don't usually wear a colour for one whole week, so this does not bother me at all.

One thing to add is that they don't have a glossy finish, so you'll definitely have to wear top coat over them.

Overall, I think they are worth purchasing. They are inexpensive, so it is a good chance to try out colours that you don't usually buy.
